Disney+’s 2023 timeline begins with the second season of the animated “Star Wars” series “The Bad Batch,” which begins airing Jan. 4. The spiritual sequel to creator Dave Filoni’s hit “The Clone Wars” follows Clone Force 99 (also known as the Bad Batch) — a group of genetically mutated elite clone troopers take on dangerous mercenary missions. Dee Bradley Baker voices all members of Bad Batch.
More episodes of the original series “Willow,” the sequel to the 1988 film of the same name, will also be released in January. Jonathan Kasdan with executive producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and stars Warwick Davis, Eric Ellie Bamber, Ruby Cruz, Ron Howard and Tony Revo Raleigh co-developed the series. The first episode of the show premiered on November 30, and the final two episodes will air on January 4 and 11.
